Tribeca Film Festival
The Ask.
3d Projections Map the AT&T building in Tribeca New York for the Tribeca Film Festival with no drawings of the building. Make it bright enough to be seen from New Jersey. Which we did with 16 Projectors converged in four zones.
What I did.
I created a 3d model of the building. With that model I previsualized content, placed projectors and setup mapping before load in.
How I did it.
Using land survey gear we measured the building from a rooftop across the street. Then I used that data to create a model of the façade of the building.
What I used to do it.
I used 3ds Max, Disguise One for playback and previz, and Adobe CC to generate content projects and test grids.
